HARLEQUIN NEWS: Harlequin maintains a Low Profile with new 1200 litre Bunded Oil Tank

Leading storage tank manufacturer Harlequin, has recently launched an all-new addition to the company's range of Bunded Oil Storage Tanks, with the introduction of the 1200BND/ENV model.
Building upon the success of the pioneering storage tank manufacturer's 1200 litre Single Skin Low Profile model, the new bunded version combines the single skin's low height and compact dimensions, with the acknowledged environmental benefits of integral bunding.
Being a Harlequin, it'll be no surprise to learn that an inherently feature packed specification is supplied as standard. All models benefiting from factory fitted fill, vent and inspection points; the 'probeless' Apollo ultrasonic oil tank contents gauge; bund warning alarm; and lockable manhole access. A bottom outlet is factory fitted as standard together with an oil tank connection kit to all 1200BND models, whilst 1200ENV models benefit from Harlequin's unique 'Ecoflex' top outlet incorporating a non-return valve, 'floating' suction pipe and isolation valve.
Harlequin's Marketing Manager John Switzer says, “The launch of the new 1200BND/ENV model represents another milestone in the continued development of our Bunded Oil Tank range. In single skin guise, the 1200 litre Low Profile Bunded has consistently proven to be a strong seller and early indications suggest that the new Bunded version will prove equally as popular with installers, fuel distributors, home owners and house holders alike.
“At less than a metre tall, the new 1200BND/ENV Bunded Oil Tank can nestle undisturbed in even the most tranquil of locations and in rural areas, can be easily concealed behind a dry stone wall. A comprehensive and feature packed specification further widens the appeal of the product.
“For some time we've standardised our electronic oil tank contents gauge offering around the highly reliable and 'probeless' Apollo system and in the process have rejected outdated and old fashioned alternative systems. The incorporation of a failsafe, electronic overfill prevention capability within the tank, also serves to reduce installer risk and liability, when compared with old-fashioned, mechanical overfill prevention valves - which can cause the very event, they're designed to prevent.”
The 1200BND/ENV Bunded Oil Tank is now in production at Harlequin's Co. Armagh Advanced Manufacturing Centre and can be ordered from Harlequin resellers across the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark and France.
